Who We Are

We are here as a creative backbone.

frances, formerly known as Artory DTLA, is a platform created by LA artists Julia Frances and Alex Feliciano. Our goal is to promote emerging artists and be a source of support to bolster their creative careers, while also being a resource for established artists, galleries, and patrons alike. We hope to provide inspiration and be a guide for all forms of visual and non-visual art and events in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. If you leave our collective feeling inspired, we encourage you to go on a hike and immerse yourself in nature. Just don’t forget to pack out your trash when you leave.

Where art Meets Nature

Everything we do is centered around nature. Preferably deep, over an hour drive into the mountains type nature. It is what fuels our personal creative spark and helps us move through the day. This section is a series of creative landscape and nature photography by co-creator of frances, Alex Feliciano, that directly inspires us in our everyday life. We hope it inspires you too.
